Wow, I just picked your photo out of Eric's portal as it really stood out. Absolutely beautiful! It reinforces my idea to move there! ;-)
Such a dramatic scene, I really love this shot. What type of birds are they trying to keep out?
It's SHADE CLOTH>The cloth is largely to protect fruit from hail, but also results in higher yields, larger fruit, less sunburn and wind rub, and helps to develop the red colour in apples. All in the Nelson Mail. http://stuff.co.nz/stuff/nelsonmail/3899837a6510.html
Beautiful sky and very dramatic. Great shot.
the orange really stands out!
Thanks, everyone and special thanks to John for finding Nelson Mail article!
Wow, beautiful shot! I do like the blue sky and the white cloud :)
Surreal, as an art installation!
Cheers Lachezar. It was installed at very large area. I need three shot to cover them completely. I decided not to stitch because of cloud formation changed dramatically on that day. This is about middle of whole and the left side is on my sketchbook.
I was wondering what species of bird would obey the "Keep Out" net.:-)))
LOL, Merisi, may be any of them, since side is wide open and, as JB said, it was a shade cloth and not to block the birds.
The red net remind me installations by Christo...Wonderful! Amazing colors, poetic sky, Great!
Thanks Teo mocchi!
de bien belles photos merci
