8 Mates:
Beautiful Cathedral, great shot!
It looks like two different buildings.
This view looks like a place one would go for a funeral. Dark. Forbidding. The other view looks like a place you would go for a rousing speech or a church service. It does look like two different worlds.
Two different worlds but I like the peek of sunlight coming through.
Thanks, everyone.
It does look like a totally different building. I like how Abraham interpreted the difference. Thanks for that!
If I have a super wide lens, I could take the cathedral from side. It is another good view, but some other day until I get new lens.
Cheers and have a nice weekend!
The sun looks cold compared to here, Ben.
I think this is quite an interesting looking building from this angle - quite impressive. I do like the way you caught just a few little bits of sun glancing the fence and trees. The building is in shadow but is given strength by contrast to the small highlights of sun. I like this shot and the afternoon? feel about it.
Yes, it's a Sunday afternoon. The sun is behind the tree I think. This side of the building give more volume rather than skinny tall tower. It's a totally different face and that what fascinates me to take this photo as well as the quietness of the scene and this lighting effect.
