Crossing Seddon Bridge

It's narrow, rickety, and a little scary, but I love this bridge. This is on State Highway 1, so big trucks traveling from Christchurch to Blenheim, Picton, and on to the ferry to the North Island cross this bridge, too.

Fortunately, we've never had the pleasure of being there when the train was traveling above us.

Meg, that's a great perspective picture you have captured. Its hard to imagine trains and big trucks still using it. Shadows and tones really add to this shot.

Thanks for your visits.

Kaikoura, I agree, if I could find you, or if you exist. Is that your URL? We had decided to include the top of the South Island until we found another South Island DP. I can't find you in the portal, or by this URL at the moment.

Hi, Lessie. Ummm, the other end is seen in the pic of July 12. Not very exciting; sorry.
