Tim's Newest

It's not very often that a successful artist invites you to a sneak preview of his latest work, and with Claudia, his "sexy young girlfriend" (Tim's words), cooks you a fabulous dinner. We are so very lucky.

Tim Wraight's piece will be seen in ShapeShifter 2008 in Lower Hutt, near Wellington later this month.

  1. A very interesting piece of work!

  2. aha, this looks quite interesting. made of metal and wood?
    - Mindless Mumbai

  3. Kunal, it's actually all wood, dyed with pigment, but then some areas are sanded. Very striking looking.

  4. This is a very cool piece of art! I would be interested in seeing some more of his work.

  5. I specially like the three picture set where you can appreciate in detail the elaborate design of this piece of art. I like those ethnic patterns that remind me of aborigen totems and even African art.

  6. Hi, Carlos. I didn't think of African, but now that you mention it, the coloring reminds me of this Tanzanian piece my parents have!! Tim would be interested to hear this for sure.
