Air NZ

An Air NZ domestic flight just fly away from Nelson Air Port. I took this at Tahunanui beach when it just passed by over my head.

Hey, we both posted about flying today. :-) Mahalo for the visit and congrats!

Thanks, that day had an especially clear sky.
It wasn't too bad for only small (135mm) lens. Shot was taken with hand-held and tracking the plane. I only tool 2 shot and this is teh better one. I'm pleased with the result.

Airscrew? Of course domestic flight aren't too long. It's lovely photo indeed (high speed eh?) ;-)

Yes, our airport is small and a jet cannot be land, because our runway is too short for them. All the plane comes and goes are air-screw in Nelson. So be prepare for little bit bumpy ride.

I was shooting different subject at the time with aperture-auto mode at wide open on the lens. Then suddenly this plane was popping out of the bush so the camera set it to high speed. (I wish it was like 1/200s for hand-held at 135mm.)
