The Origin of Stars at the Top of Christmas Trees

Who would have thought it originated in Nelson! Hee hee.

  1. Too, too clever Meg. Great capture.

  2. Technically, Sue, you see that that star is horizontal, not vertical. Which I realized just this morning. So I feel like a Christmas fraud...

  3. No worries Meg, but remember it is all in the angle.
They have been using this tree, horizontal star or not, as a Christmas tree for zonks, but as an indoor potted, although some places have been known to decorate a huge outdoor specimen. Good shot! Lesley Expat Kiwi

  4. We decorate a fig tree - but I think it needs repotting this year. Not doing too flash it appears....
