11 Mates:
That is beautiful. At first I thought it was the moon and that you had brought out the colors.
This is amazing - I thought the same as Jacob; a planet of some sorts.
Thank you, both. The Moon, or something up there, was what I was going for. I have another, much smaller one, that's more muted oranges and browns that's absolutely beautiful, but I'm finding it a little harder to photograph thus far. I will give that one a go, too.
I saw the small thumbnail of this at my blog in my 'Favourite Blogs' section and thought the same. Either the Moon or a planet. I like it, it's very interesting to look at and would probably match most decors.
Cheers

Ahhhh, Pete, "decors". We are currently going through a "middle of a renovation" period. Blue tarp and all. Hopefully it will be remedied soon, but before that, we need to wash down and repaint at least the kitchen and the living room, but ideally a bit beyond. Yikes!
Fantastic pottery!
Hi, George. Thanks. On her behalf, I guess.
Now I want a game of marbles. Can you still get those I wonder. It is a very mesmerising piece and yes a small planet came to mind.
Baboshka, marbles, or glass beads, would make interesting subject, yes. Not just in shooting, but tampering with colors and effects later as well.
Well, I thought it was a satellite photo of Earth...
Marc, see the rubbish bag used as the backdrop?
