Knowledge Catcher

Late last Friday afternoon, I noticed, after using the NMIT library for a decade, that high above us inverted waste paper baskets hung as lampshades. Was that a turn-of-the-century style statement, or is is a metaphor I don't get?

It means Knowledge can be reused and reapplied on different occasions? hehe..

Perhaps the were just saving money by using unwanted baskets instead of buying lampshades ?
