It leads to a rather idyllic location...ah, a beach!!
Great shot for the theme day. I'm following your blog now.

Oh, a short cut down to the beach. Great, I'll be right over.
Lovely photo, and great in monochrome.
Cheers.

Beautiful monochrome!
Wonderfully framed, guys. Such a delicate scene when framed like this. Took guts to take it to monochrome but I am delighted that the challenge was not beyond you. The result is delightful.
Thank you for that suggestion, Ben. I have cropped it square and it makes a massive difference. Brings out the elegance of the stance of the waiter and adds to the pillars that are visible through the furthest archway. Don't think of things like that. Much appreciated.
I have actually uploaded the altereed version. Take a look when you can.
Great peek through the trees
superb image for theme day. very artsy
Hey, now THAT's a passageway I want to run down! The beach looks so inviting. I like that you put this in black and white and how that makes me look at the light and shadow.
Have you ever tried kite surfing? I can't keep on a board standing up for more than 2 seconds in normal circumstances, so when I see folks out there really harnessing the wind, I'm super impressed.
