Red - Pohutokawa

Any of NZ blog must post this in the Christmas season., I'm bit late but here you go.
Sorry for quality. It was a test shot with my (new to me) second-hand 500mm mirror lens. Virtually hand-held on 1/125sec on F8. I used windows flame to hold my camera steady as possible.

  1. Great shot Ben. the "new' camera looks like it will give you super shots.

  2. Thanks, Sue.
Well it's just a lens I bought off from auction site. Guy personally delivered to me and its age condition considered it finish the production in 1983 (Tamron Sp 500mm (52B)) . Not bad, hum?

  3. Have fun with your new lens! Beautiful Pohutakawa shot! Cheers Ben!

  4. These looks like sea urchins swaying. Ok I'm swaying with too much Christmas Drinkies. I even managed not to post. Hope yu both had a wonderful Christmas.

  5. Thanks, Babooshka. It sounds like you are having joyful time.
