Knowledge Catcher

Late last Friday afternoon, I noticed, after using the NMIT library for a decade, that high above us inverted waste paper baskets hung as lampshades. Was that a turn-of-the-century style statement, or is is a metaphor I don't get?

  1. It means Knowledge can be reused and reapplied on different occasions? hehe..

  2. Perhaps the were just saving money by using unwanted baskets instead of buying lampshades ?

    Waste not want not !

  3. Thank you, guys. I think I'll be forever perplexed by it, but I'd like to think there was some kind of humor at work...
